Responsible for the Human Resources and Environmental Health & Safety areas in the Mexican operations.

Achievements: Provide support in the consolidation of different plants, negotiated union contracts, established policies, procedures and different systems at the Noma plants, start up of the Queretaro plant, recruiting and hiring.

Responsible for Human Resources Mexico/U.S.A., security, environmental Health and safety, medical services, housekeeping, training, reception, compensation and benefits, labor and public relations.

Achievements: Successful company roll out of the shelter program, instrumental in the development and implementation of Pay for Knowledge program, High Performance Work Teams and Kaizen.  Reduction of turnover from 34% to 5.4%.  Total compliance with SEMARNAT, PROFEPA, Labor Department, Health Department and Social Security.  Reductions of accident rate 96%, Reduction of lead levels 75%, implementation of adult education programs and health campaigns.  Participated in the QS-9000 implementation. Implemented ISO14000.  As part of the management team effort and continuos improvement programs productivity increase from 33% to 80%, PPM’s reduced; delivery increased and quality improved.
